What's New on Gauntlet

We're excited to welcome all 400 new students to the platform who joined in July — whether you're a tutor bringing your students onto the platform for the first time or a student just getting started, we're glad you're here. This month has been a big one for new content, so let's get right into it.

🆕 New This Month

A Consolidated Study Hub for Students

In an effort to simplify our planner and homework pages, we've combined the Planner and the Study Hub pages into one! Everything you loved about the planner now fits squarely into the main Study Hub page. From here you can do the following:

1. Check your upcoming tasks and sort by upcoming, in progress, completed, and more
2. Snooze tasks if your schedule is too busy to "catch up" on tasks
3. Check your progress towards your goals, and see your weakest areas to target for verbal and math
4. Add your own tasks and build your own schedule
5. View in "list view" or "kanban view"
6. See all your completed tasks and recent activity on a single page

Math Flashcards

A brand-new set of math flashcards is now live, covering the core formulas, rules, and quick-recall concepts you need on test day. Perfect for a 10-minute review between sessions or a last pass before a test. These are always free, just like our popular vocabulary quizlets!

5 New "Very Hard" Math Section Tests

We've added five new full math section tests built specifically for students who are ready to be challenged. Each one is modeled directly after the real SAT's adaptive structure and takes you straight into the second, harder module — no easing in. If you want to know exactly what the hardest version of the SAT math section feels like, these are it.

We even made it easier for you to just "blitz" the second modules. Click the Module 2 Start button and bypass the first module:

Curated "Very Hard" Grammar Drill Sets

Several new drill sets have been added targeting some of the toughest grammar concepts on the Verbal section:

• Pronoun agreement and reference — the hardest of the hard
• Title + name punctuation — a frequently misunderstood rule that shows up more than students expect
• Punctuating clauses — comma, semicolon, and colon usage in complex sentence structures

These sets are deliberately curated to be difficult, and they were written by humans! If you're already comfortable with the basics of grammar and want to sharpen the edge cases that separate a good score from a great one, start here.

4+ New "Phrasal Transitions" sets and a "Transition Clause" Set

Transitions have been showing up more frequently — and more subtly — on the real SAT lately, and we've built new practice to match. These four-plus new sets focus specifically on the harder phrasal transitions (think beyond "however" and "therefore") that are tripping students up on recent real exams.

📚 New on Amazon: The Gauntlet Vocabulary Book

Our new vocabulary book is officially live on Amazon — and it's already climbing the Top 10 New SAT Releases chart. If you or your students want a physical companion to pair with the platform's verbal and math practice, this is a great addition to your prep toolkit. It includes the words from March, April/May, and June SATs as bonus chapters, so please study these words before the fall SAT season!

Coming Down the Pipe

Question Blitz — A new feature in development that gives students quick, targeted exposure to questions at a specific difficulty level. Think rapid-fire reps at exactly the level you need, without the overhead of a full section or test. We'll share more details as this gets closer to launch.

PSAT Support (PSAT 10 and PSAT 8/9) — Both PSAT 10 and PSAT 8/9 tests are already loaded into the platform. We're currently fine-tuning the scoring algorithm to make sure your PSAT results are just as precise and reliable as your SAT results. Release is coming soon — stay tuned.

A Quick Reminder for Students

Two features worth revisiting as you work through this new content:

• Missed Questions, All in One Place — Every question you've gotten wrong across every test and drill lives in a single view, making review sessions fast and focused. No digging back through old tests to find what you missed.

• Topic and Performance Tab — This is your map to what's actually holding your score back. Check it regularly to spot accuracy gaps by topic and prioritize your practice where it will move the needle most.

And the cool thing is that if you click on a topic in your Topic Performance page, it will automatically sort by that topic and take you to your missed questions for review:

Pairing new "very hard" content with consistent review of your missed questions and performance data is the fastest way to turn tough drills into real score gains.
